This 1990 Sportster started out as just a throw together quick hardtail conversion (Bitter End Weld-On tail section) to give some new life to an old bike taking up too much room at the shop. Harley engine and tranny were kept, but stock front end was replaced by a Springer. Brass and steel were twisted (notice the handlebars and the rear fender brace/sissy bar), a seat pan, oil tank, battery and electric boxes and a lot of little parts were fabricated. Copper lines, new mid-controls were installed. Seat is the work of Rafino Custom Seats. Then after mockup test assembly it was time to go to paint, a job done in-house by Karl at Azzkikr Paint Division. Karl being of Japanese descent, he chose to create a collage of fades and flakes with for center piece a Japanese war flag. Result is somewhat flashy without looking overdone. Azzkikr Custom Cycles.
