Ural Australia is offering free demo rides on their range of outfits, but the only catch is you have to ride to Uralla in central NSW.
That’s not such an impost as it could mean a great ride up the Oxley Highway.
The inaugural Ural Australia Open House and Demo Event will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at their headquarters at 119 Bridge Street, Uralla, from 8am.
Outfit training
Riders will not only be able to ride the latest Ural models, but also get some training in the theory of sidecar riding and handling dynamics.
If you’ve never ridden an outfit, you will find it is substantially different from riding a leaning motorcycle.
For a start, you steer where you want to go, not counter-steer.
The Ural team will show take riders around a practice circuit to get familiar with direct steering. They will even show how braking can be fun.
With some practice you can also get the “chair” airborne!
Riders will be also experience the off-road abilities of the Ural.
Food and drinks will be available throughout the day.
To take part, riders must have an open motorcycle licence, sign a waiver/indemnity form and register via 02 6778 4673, email at info@imz-ural.com.au or online.
