An Extra $30 For Lots Of Features
In today’s day and age, Indian motorcycle enthusiasts have a wicked amount of bikes in the 250-350cc category. This means that all of the big OEM’s are in direct (and tight) competition with one another to provide India with the perfect 300cc motorcycle. Honda’s H’ness CB350 has been a huge success for the Indian market, but for riders seeing a ‘sportier’ option, TVS’ Apache RR310 might fit the bill; but be aware that it has seen a bump in pricing for the 2021 model year.
How big of a price jump are we talking about here? $30 USD. Easy, easy… I know it doesn’t seem like much, but at the end of the day we’re talking about a bike with a sticker of $3,445 USD and there’s a ton of other cheaper options in the same vein when it comes to mid displacement motorcycles in the Indian market.
Although the TVS Apache RR310 is only rising the price of ‘a nice lunch with a friend’, it’s still for good reason. TVS has overextended itself with the 2021 edition with a ton of new tech features that will be included in the bike.
The ride-by-wire system is assisted by a total of four riding modes that can be selected through the sizable full-color TFT display in addition to LED lighting all around.
Beyond the tech, the RR310 is propelled by a 313cc thumper that produces a total of 33.5 horsepower – shared with the BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS.
The motorcycle has risen in price by a total of Rs 2000, bringing the total cost of the 2021 TVS Apache RR310 to Rs 2,49,990. At the end of the day, you’re getting a well-styled motorcycle with adequate power and a few extra features (such as the TFT display) that other OEM competitors might miss out on.
