Three-time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss will pass on his expert advice to young racers at the second annual Big Day Out.
The motoDNA program at Broadford track in rural Victoria on Monday, September 16, aims to benefit junior Australian road racers by teaching on-track development with off-track review and preparation.
Stars that attended last year’s program included; 500GP legend Kevin Magee, V8 Supercar Legend Craig Lowndes; MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner; ASBK star Glen Allerton plus V8 Supercar stars Will Davison and Steve Richards.
MotoDNA’s Mark MacVeigh says Bayliss has an impeccable motorcycle racing record.
“He is one individual who the junior stars of the future will most certainly look up to in their own quest for success,” he says.
“Not only is Troy an absolute legend through his racing exploits, he is also one of the most personable and modest racers I know. Troy will be a great asset in taking the foundation to the next level in Australasia.
“This year’s Big Day Out is going to be huge. We are adding to our list of VIP sports mentors by the day. The experience for the junior road racers and guest students will be absolutely unique.”
Prices for coaching range are $195 for juniors and $95 and cater for intermediate to licensed road riders. You can also go along as a spectator for $20.
