Aprilia owners now have an exclusive track day where they can really test out the full performance of their bike, some of which include new electronic traction control systems.
Importer John Sample Automotive (JSA) has combined with Eastern Creek Ride Days to host the event on March 15 and/or 16. Cost is $269 per day which gives riders six 20-minute sessions, access to Aprilia techs for bike set-up, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, snacks and soft drinks, an Aprilia gift pack and a $100 gift voucher on Aprilia merchandise and accessories.
But it’s not just for lucky Sydney Aprilia riders. JSG has also organised a subsidised freight program to encourage customers from interstate to participate. Cost is $220 from Brisbane, $200 from Melbourne, $150 from Adelaide and $500 from Perth.
The track day will give Aprilia riders the opportunity to experience the full potential of their bike on a race track … with no speed cameras! JSA says the event is ideal for anyone owning a RSV4 Factory, RSV4 R, Tuono V4 R, Shiver 750, RS 125 or RS 250 but is open to anyone riding any Aprilia. It caters for first-time track novices all the way through to seasoned pros.
I’ve ridden the Sydney circuit on several occasions including a recent California Superbike School training day and it is an awesome free-flowing circuit with one of the fastest corners in Australia – turn one which you take almost flat out. A great test for Aprilia’s performance and electronic rider aids!
Stay tuned because JSA is a planning a “different style” event for Moto Guzzi customers.
