This ‘SuperBusa’ is “The Fastest Hayabusa You Can Buy Today”

TTS Performance has collaborated with KarDesignConcepts to bring you the ultimate ‘Busa – and considering the former is a specialist in superchargers, you can imagine the pony power to play with in the final project. 

For this kit, the two teams took a factory ‘Busa and added forged engine parts and a full-system Brocks exhaust to a TTS Rotrex supercharger conversion package, bumping the power up from 187bhp to a stunning 370bhp, or 375hp.

The masterminds also added CF winglets, CF intercooler tank vents, a CF drive cover and a revalved front suspension with titanium clippers. 

All of this rides on 330mm StopTech front discs (and a lightweight TTS rear disc), with the report from Top Speed pointing out the obvious perk of a build like this:
“What’s even more impressive is the fact that everything is tightly wound together and the Hayabusa appears rather normal from most angles.”

“To achieve this, TTS has housed the intercooler under the stock fuel tank while directing the air via carbon fiber ducts integrated in the fuel tank.”

Naturally, the SuperBusas will also feature carbon wheels. A single-sided swingarm, and a taller windscreen to keep aerodynamics playing nicey-nice.

  1. thank you Ms Quick great article. May i suggest madam that you also consider getting your head stuck into some historic motocycle manuals. A sort of Back 2 the Future twist could be of interest to your readers – i know it is to me. I have a few actual historic Jap mcycles (2x Z1300 Kawasaki’s and 1x Suzuki GS1100) 40+yrs old however now quite a few marques are bringing out resto mods eg Kawasaki and Royal Enfield. I am older yet a younger demographic are making these esp. the RE v e r y popular YET they are opposite the Busa above as the RE Interceptor has (get this) 34hp!!! 1/5th the power of the Busa. Happy to discuss ‘why is it so?’!! anyway thx again for your article ciao paul ps the RE chrome work and so forth from my reviews is exemplar and QC is great and price is around 1/3 that of the Busa!!!!!!

    2. It’s up to you, power does not mean anything, driver can lost his life with speed of 40-50km/h or power of 10hp. Stronger vehicle gives you better chance if you are in tricky situation. I have 57 years as a motorcycle driver and 71 old. My bike is hayabusa with 197hp. No problem!

  2. In my opinion, a 375hp motorcycle sounds dangerous and shouldn’t be ridden anywhere outside of a race track. The fact that anyone with $35,000 can buy and ride this machine on the street is insane. Europe has the right idea with their 100HP limit on motorcycles. I’m sure I would have had a different opinion when I was 20 years old but I’ve gained some life experience and wisdom since then.

  3. You will need the skill of Jack Miller to ride it . 99.999% of rider have not got the skill. Look really good though.

  4. I owned a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Busa the 3rd Gen was slower than 1&2 I wanted the 3rd the price was to high for a bike that was slower then the first two so sad I like what you did to this one to bad won’t be sold in the USA cause I’d buy it
