Need to Ship a Bike?
As you might already know, shipping a motorcycle can be a costly and difficult endeavor. Well, the American Motorcyclist Association wants to make things a little easier. The association recently added the company Motorcycle Shippers to its list of partners. This means AMA members can enjoy special benefits when choosing the company.
The big news here is that the AMA has worked out a deal for its members to receive $25 off per bike or $100 off the round trip on shipping. These prices include door-to-door transport and online booking and tracking.
“We are pleased to announce that Motorcycle Shippers has joined the AMA’s growing portfolio of membership benefit partners,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. “The AMA is proud to be able to offer our members a discount on Motorcycle Shippers’ services.”
Motorcycle Shippers sound like true professionals in the industry. I’ve never used their services, but the company has specially designed straps made for motorcycles and secures each bike to its own pallet. The company provides up to $7,000 of coverage at no additional cost. This is a nice addition to the membership benefits available to AMA members. It’s not amazing, but it’s worth noting if you have a bike to ship.
