Australian MV Agusta importer, Urban Moto Imports, travelled to Queensland at the weekend to offer riders the chance to sample their Italian sports motorcycles.
MV Agusta Riding Experience days are also scheduled for South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, with riders able to ride any of their range.
More than 70 riders assembled over two days at The Bearded Dragon hotel at Tamborine Village to test the fleet and talk about it over a coffee and burger.
Staff from Melbourne were available to answer technical questions, assisted by their two local dealers from Nerang and Capalaba.
In an age where test bikes are far and few between, it is great to see an importer provide the entire range on display, with all main colour and accessory options available.
The professional guided test loops were tailored to each group’s feedback on their own interests.
In particular the 800cc triple engine platform was well represented in the new F3 Supersports, Dragster RR, Stradale, Brutale and Turismo Veloce.
In all, there were 12 bikes prepared for test rides, including the F3 675, F4 and 1090 Brutale.
Also on display was a new example of the F4C Superbike, one of only 250 to be made. This road going masterpiece is closely based on the same bike that Brit Leon Camier is finding great success in the 2015 World Superbike Championships.
The Riding Experience days are a great sign that MV Agusta is back in good hands in Australia as well as with its partnership with Mercedes-AMG.
The following ride days are planned for the remainder of the year.
- South Australia: Amberlight Motorcycle Cafe, Lobethal, 27 September, 2015
- Victoria: Kinglake Hotel, 10 October, 2015
- New South Wales: Pie in the Sky, Cowan, 14 November, 2015
