Motorcycle Stuff Chain Lube is the lowest cost per unit chain lube in this comparison, at $0.018 per gram.
However, this is only $0.001 less than our favorite in this batch, Klotz KLR.
Also, the Motorcycle Stuff Chain Lube has a relatively weak spray.
Beyond that, the spray exits more like a stream, rather than a diffused spray, which means that it has more overspray and waste than the Klotz KLR chain lube that we like, so the efficiency is lower.
Otherwise, Motorcycle Stuff Chain Lube seems to be a pretty basic chain lube.
It’s relatively clear, it dries fairly rapidly and it has low fling-off.
We think if they modified the sprayer so the liquid had a bit more spritz, this could be a winner.
As it is, too much of the liquid goes through the chain and ends up wasted — perhaps a good argument for a foamy type delivery system?
