February 21, 2012 – In addition to the new Sena SMH-5intercom, Sena also introduced the new Sena SM10 Bluetooth Stereo Audio Adapter system at the 2012 Dealer Expo.
UPDATE: Sena SM10 Review!
The SM10 is a surprise and it responds to the many webBikeWorld Sena owners who have been asking for a Bluetooth stereo adapter that will allow dual-streaming for music, GPS and more.
That’s right: the SM10 allows both you and your passenger to share the same music stream, GPS instructions and more!
It even has an AUX port, so you can connect non-Bluetooth devices, such as GPS or radar detectors or heck — even your old 8-track!
The SM10 uses Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. It will work with any Bluetooth intercom system, but of course Sena would prefer you use an SMH-10 (review) or SMH-5 (preview). It charges via a USB port.
The SM10 will be available some time this Spring (around April) at a cost of around $150.00. It has a rubber band to mount on a handlebar and a single button.
