This bike was built in Poway, California for a customer in Scotland. Starting with a used Thruxton, we swapped the front for Mule billet clamps and Yamaha R-6 forks, Mule hubs built up with Sun rims and stainless spokes. A custom Mule oil cooler kit keeps the heavily pumped up engine cool while the stainless exhaust makes for beautiful music. The paint was done by Blake Conway in the Herron of Britain racing theme. The bike is now 70 lbs lighter than stock with about 60% more HP to the wheel. Racetech shocks, better brakes and the fully adjustable R-6 forks all contribute to a muchly improved ride. Upon completion, the owner flew in from Scotland for a trip from San Diego to Monterey for the Gathering at the Quail bike show. After a few tweaks for personal taste, off the bike went to its permanent home in Scotland.
