You can ride with 2003 World Supersport champion Chris Vermeulen this Saturday.
MotoLife at Caloundra is hosting a Bang on a Beanie Barbie after a ride through the region with the former MotoGP and 10-time World Superbike race winner.
The ride will help raise funds for the Bang on a Beanie campaign supporting more than 1.6 million Australians affected by acquired brain injury.
Supporters are encouraged to proudly wear a blue beanie in support of Brain Injury Awareness Week on August 12-18.
The MotoLife ride starts at the dealership at 9am and you can register your interest on their Facebook page so they can organise numbers for the barbie lunch.
Chris says he will probably ride a BMW F 800 GS which he says is his favourite bike.
“They’re just easy and comfortable and you can go anywhere,” he says.
“I think we’re heading out to the hinterland and over the range to Maleny, Kenilworth and Cooroy.”
The ride will take about four hours. A $20 donation includes the ride, beanie and barbie.
