Triumph’s annual RAT Rally moves to the great riding roads of the Adelaide Hills in April with skills demonstrations by former World Superbike rider Steve Martin.
The two-day rally will also include demo rides on new models such as the Bobber, T100, Street Cup and Street Scrambler, helmet pin-striping and airbrushing, a show and shine, official merchandise and a photographer to record your ride.
Continuing the trend from last year, Triumph Motorcycles Australia spokesman Dale McBride says RAT riders are “more than welcome” to bring along friends not riding Triumphs.
It’s similar to the new Harley Days annual rally format where riders on non-Harleys are ionvited. the idea is to reach out to new customers.
“The event represents an excellent opportunity for non-Triumph riders to experience the brand and test ride the latest models,” he says.
The price has increased from $150 at last year’s rally in the Alps to $200 but does not include accommodation.
It will be held at the Hahndorf Resort on April 7-9. For accommodation, contact the resort on (08) 83887 921 and mention your booking for the Triumph RAT Rally 2017. Rooms are priced from $139 to $189 a night.
