No helmet, no red lights

The streets of Milwaukee are filled with helmetless riders here for the Harley 110th birthday bash.
Helmets are not mandatory in Wisconsin.
Motorcycle riders can also go through a red light in Wisconsin after a special law was passed in 2006.
Riders are allowed to pass through red lights if they have waited 45 seconds as the sensors sometimes don’t pick up bikes.
It also saves riders from sitting in baking sun or drenching rain and can prevent them being hit from behind by impatient motorists.
Seems like a pretty good rule. Not at all a fan of the no-helmet law, though.
