The Nexx X40 Hypertech model is one of the best and highest reviewed piece of gear out of the range of advanced bike helmets available on the market today. The Nexx X40 Hypertech is built completely out of a very durable carbon fibre shell and triple composite. You can just catch a glimpse of it under the paint and designs. Carbon fibre is incredibly durable, making it the perfect material for a tough, effective bike helmet that is unlikely to ever crack or wear out. 
The face mask for both the X-40, as well as the X40 Hypertech are adjustable, you can have the full face mask completely down to keep out the cold, or leave the face mask off to experience the feeling of cool wind blowing across your open face while you ride. With the X40 line, you can easily remove or change the position of your face mask by using the helmet’s chin protector. The X40 line also comes with the option of adjusting the visor if necessary, allowing you either full face protection, or open faced riding, while still having the added benefit of the tough carbon fibre shell.

X40 Enduro Helmet
The Nexx X40 Enduro model of helmet has the positive features of both a peak as well as a handy retractable sun visor, but unfortunately, unlike some of the other helmets in the line it does not come with the full length transparent face mask as well.
Both the Nexx X40 and Hypertech have been through extensive and thorough testing regarding all aspects of the helmets, including the visors, the durability of the carbon fibre shell to the helmet, and the reliability and aerodynamics. Engineers event went as far as putting the face masks through intensive and thorough wind tunnel testing, which allowed them to maximise its aerodynamic and streamlined properties and minimize irritating white noise levels from traffic or motors. This makes the Nexx X40 and the Hypertech not only incredibly aerodynamic, but very ergonomic as well, making your ride more comfortable in changing road or weather conditions.
The Nexx X40, Hypertech, and Enduro models work well in most conditions; you can wear them in both cold and warm weather and adjust your visor and face mask for the riding conditions of the day. They are designed to be accommodating to your style and needs as a biker. The Nexx helmets work great for commuters needing to navigate traffic at busy hours of the day, and their adjustable features are perfect for doing bike tours or making cross country trips, as you can adjust the settings on your helmet depending on what the road conditions are like, and where you’re planning to ride.
The Nexx helmets also have the useful benefit of more efficiently blocking out some of the loud traffic and motor noise, which in some cases can get so loud that it actually damages your hearing. Over all the Nexx X40 Hypertech, and Enduro are a solid choice for anyone looking for a good, reliable motorcycle helmet with a few added features and prices that won’t break your bank. The helmet’s strong carbon fibre shell, its multiple and adjustable settings and its versatility make the Nexx series a good buy for any sort of biker. The only real negative aspect of the Nexx series is that the Nexx Enduro does not come with a clear, transparent face mask.
If you really want that feature though, it does come with the Nexx X40 and Hypertech, which are quite similar to the Enduro. The Nexx X40 line are a good buy for any biker, offering good protection, and adjustable features all at a fair and reasonable price.
