MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Confirmed for 2020

MV Agusta Superveloce 800

This Concept Bike Comes to Life

If you thought the MV Agusta Superveloce 800 that was unveiled as a concept bike at EICMA 2018 in Milan should become a production bike, you weren’t alone. MV Agusta confirmed it will build the bike. The production version of the bike will come in 2020, according to a post on the company’s Instagram.

From what we can see in the post, the bike will not differ too much from the motorcycle shown in the images here. Those images are of the motorcycle that appeared in Milan. The motorcycle is based on the MV Agusta F3 800. It used the chassis, brakes, and engine, according to Motorcycle News. With that said, the bike isn’t just a retro body kit. It gets an engine tune and a special exhaust system.

The motorcycle is a tribute to the MV Agusta bikes of the 1970s. It’s as you can imagine far more retro looking than any of MV Agusta’s other modern bikes. The company achieved this look thanks to a new carbon fiber fairing and a circular headlight. Overall, the bike is a stunning machine and blends retro style with modern technology. The bike gets LED lighting and a full-color TFT dash to complete the build.

I’m not seeing a price for the machine yet, but you can bet it will be a pricey motorcycle. MV Agusta isn’t known for making affordable bikes, and the Superveloce will be no exception. I’ll keep an eye out for pricing info. In the meantime, fill up that piggybank.
