An Easy Way to Buy
MV Agusta’s Serie Oro Superveloce 800 and Brutale 1000 didn’t just sell out quickly and annoy some people with their advertising. The bikes were also used to introduce a new online ordering system that MV Agusta has. The company introduced this new system with the Serie Oro models, but now it will roll out this for all of its motorcycles.
This is a notable move by the company and could be the future for many other manufacturers. Hey, I mean, we buy practically everything online these days why not motorcycles, too? MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov seems to think that the company embracing online shopping is a smart move. I have to agree. He said the following in a statement:
We believe that the digital ecosystem is a cornerstone for reaching worldwide growth and strengthen customer relationships. Starting today, we make easier to connect customers to our dealer network worldwide by allowing users to start their order request directly from mvagusta.com.
It’s not fully rolled out just yet. The company also has a different process for different markets. According to RideApart, markets outside of the U.S. simply fill out a form and are contacted by a deal. In the U.S. (of the areas where it has rolled out), it’s a lot more streamlined and you can even instantly apply for financing on MV Agusta’s website.
It’ll be interesting to see if MV Agusta has any impact on other manufactueres who don’t have similar options on their websites. I could see this having an impact. Buying a motorcycle can be an arduous process. I’m all for any steps to streamline things.
