MV Agusta Brutale 800 updated

MV Agusta Brutale 800

This video shows the more streamlined and muscular MV Agusta Brutale 800 being produced in their Milan factory.

It will be unveiled at the nearby EICMA motorcycle show tomorrow (November 17, 2015) along with a host of concepts and updated models.

Mercedes-AMG ownership over the past year has been great for MV Agusta with an improvement in quality, 25% more production, 40% increase in turnover and a raft of technological improvements.

The Brutale 800 will be the first model under their stewardship to wear the new MV Agusta logo that bears the tagline “Passion. Precisely Crafted”.MV Agusta Brutale 800

In keeping with that motto, the Brutale features quite a few styling updates, including a revised tail with LED taillights, sculpted fuel tank, new intake ducts, a striking see-through cavity under the seat, reshaped exhaust and a more aerodynamic headlight with an LED ring acting as a daytime running light.

The instruments are now more comprehensive and it is expected there will be a host of electronic rider aids.

The wheels have been changed from 10 to five spokes in gloss black and there are Brembo brakes with radial callipers.

There is no word on any updates to the 798cc triple, but we imagine there will be slightly improved power, torque and economy figures.

Other MV Agusta models to feature in Milan include the Dragster RR LH44 inspired by F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, the F3 AMG “Solar Beam” concept, the F3 RC and F4 RC, and the bikes ridden by Jules Cluzel, Lorenzo Zanetti, Leon Camier and Massimo Roccoli, winner of the Italian SuperSport championship.
