2008 Victory Vision Motorcycle – First Photos
Photos of the New 2008 Victory Vision Motorcycle
I’m not a cruiser rider and I don’t own a pure touring bike but I like anything with two wheels, and the new Victory Vision has to be one of the most outrageous and ground-breaking designs ever.
Victory (Polaris) can do this because they don’t carry the design heritage “baggage”, so to speak, of that other American motorcycle manufacturer. Let’s hope Victory turns their attention to a V-Twin powered sportbike soon…
The Dealer Expo normally features motorcycle accessories, clothing, helmets and other powersports gear like ATVs, dirt bikes and accessories, so it was a nice surprise to find Victory with probably the biggest, nicest and most expensive display at the show, just to show off their new bikes.
If I was a cruiser rider, I’d be looking seriously at Victory products, I think they have some really, really nice motorcycles. Maybe one of these days as my old bones get too stiff for sportbiking….who knows, stranger things have happened!
The Vision has a real presence when viewed up close. The panels were designed to fit together very with the bare minimum number of gaps and seams.
This is a pure showbike for the road — it has a sort of jewel-like persona as it shines under the lights. I have no idea when it will be released — there isn’t much info on the Victory website yet. Anyway, here are some photos. Enjoy!
