Motowerk Handlebar Risers With GPS Attachment
June 11, 2017: The Motowerk handlebar risers are very easy to install on the Versys, but there’s a problem: the SW-Motech tank bag won’t fit!

Ermax Sport Windshield Replacement for the Versys
January 17, 2017: Ermax may not be a familiar name but this aerospace plastics company makes windshields in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors for many different bikes. We installed the Sport Windshield on the Versys, in the Ermax Windshield Review.
SW-Motech Quick-Lock EVO Daypack Tank Bag for the Versys
September 27, 2016: The Daypack tank bag is just the right size to hold a bottle of water, sunglasses and an extra pair of gloves. It fits easily on the Versys with the SW-Motech Quick-Lock fuel tank ring. This system prevents the tank bag from touching the paint and makes it very easy to remove the tank bag for refueling. Read all about it in the SW-Motech Quick-Lock EVO Daypack Tank Bag Review.
Adding a License Plate LED Brake Light Bar to the Versys
August 17, 2016: The Electrical Connection LED brake light and running light bar was added to the Versys for even more rear brake light visibility. Read the License Plate LED Brake Light review and we’ll follow it up with a Part 2 by adding the Radiantz “Puckz” LED brake and running lights for even more photonic power!
Fitting the Kaoko Throttle Control on the Versys
August 14, 2016: Here’s one more look at fitting a Kaoko Throttle Control (aka throttle stabilizer) on the Versys. There is a slight trick to the installation, because the Kaoko doesn’t seem to fit at first. A little persuasion helps…
Kawell Amber LED Light Bar
June 12, 2016: The OZ lights and the AdMore amber LEDs weren’t enough. I also added theKawell Amber LED Light Bar (review). It’s an inexpensive add-on that gives the Versys even more conspicuity to hopefully wake up texting drivers.
Motowerk Mirror Extenders
May 9, 2016: If you own a Versys, you need a set of the Motowerk Mirror Extenders (review). They’re dirt cheap at $36.00, beautifully made in the U.S.A. and they give a fantastic view of the rear and nothing else.
Cameleon Plus Chain Oiler
April 27, 2016: Cameleon automatic chain oilers are a favorite, it’s relatively easy to install and very low profile compared to other automatic chain oilers. Here’s a review of the new Cameleon Plus chain oiler, now installed on the Versys.
SW-Motech Wide Foot Pegs for the Versys
April 7, 2016: The SW-Motech Wide Foot Pegs (review) fit a variety of bikes, including the Versys 650 and 1000. They make a big difference compared to the tiny and narrow stock foot pegs and we can highly recommend this upgrade.
SHAD SH39 Top Case for the Versys
February 12, 2016: The SHAD SH39 top case (review) is a mid-sized case with plenty of room for storage. It fits easily to the pre-tapped holes on the 2015 standard and LT Versys 650 and many other bikes and it looks factory.
AdMore Amber LED Lights
January 28, 2016: I had these narrow LED light strips leftover from a previous project and installed them on the windscreen of the Versys. They look cool and give some added conspicuity.
They’re easy to connect to the wiring right under the “nose” of the Versys. Read all about it in the AdMore Amber LED Array review.
Denali Soundbomb Split Horn on the Versys
January 19, 2016: It took a lot of figuring but we came up with a unique location for mounting the compressor and the horn trumpets in the Denali Soundbomb Split Horn review for the 2015 Versys 650.

January 2, 2016: Cheap $49.50 LED light set puts out a surprising amount of light and there’s a very nice mounting location on the Versys! Be sure to read the OZ LED Mini Trail Lights reviewwith lots of photos and tons of info on how to mount these on the Versys.

December 8, 2015: Kind of expensive but well built and not too difficult to install, the SW-Motech center stand for the 2015 Kawasaki Versys 650 works really well. This report includes installation tips and a video.
