Easter is one of the best times to go for a ride because of the weather, no matter which hemisphere you’re in. It’s also statistically one of the most dangerous times to be on the road.
Police patrols and speed cameras are also out in full strength, there is plenty of traffic on the road heading to the bush and coast for traditional camping holidays, and there are plenty of drunks out celebrating. It is a recipe for disaster! But you don’t have to hide inside and eat chocolate while dreaming of going for a ride.
