Rider groups continue to ride to raise money for worthwhile causes with motorcycle charity rides and we are happy to help promote their events.
The latest is by the Queensland branch of the Shadow Riders of Australia who are doing a charity ride for the Warwick family in Brisbane who tragically they lost their two-year-old son, Roman, in a house fire recently.
The ride will be held on Saturday, June 20, from Yatala on the Gold Coast hinterland, looping around Brisbane and returning in the afternoon for a barbecue lunch.
The Wesley Mission will host the barbecue to raise money and the Honda Shadow riders are organising the ride. However, riders on all brands and types of bike are invited to tag along. Cost is $15 per rider or pillion which includes a ticket for a sausage sizzle and a drink as well as entry in a raffle.
All funds raised will go to the family to help relieve some of the financial burden and help rebuild their lives.
Check out their event Facebook page.
