A manufacturing fault that can drop the back end of some Moto Guzzi models has caused importers, the John Sample Automotive Group, to recall the bikes.
The recall notice says: “If the double connecting rod fails it will cause the rear of the motorcycle to drop. Under certain circumstance this may cause the rider to fall from the motorcycle.”
The company will contact owners and fix the fault for free.
It affects certain VIN numbers of Stelvio, Norge, Griso, Bellagio and 1200 Sport, but not the California or V7 models.
