More Queensland towns are set to officially become “Motorcycle friendly”.
Texas on the Queensland/NSW border is the first mainland Australian town to declare itself biker friendly and held an official ceremony in July to unveil signs and banners in the small town. Read my story here.
Cr David McMahon says it has already been deemed so successful that Inglewood and Goondiwindi will shortly join the fun by declaring themselves friendly to bike riders.
Let’s hope it caches on in other areas of the country.
