Are you wearing the right helmets? Safety needs to be your first priority, and the LS2 Stripper Helmet can help.
The Best Among Many
With the market flooded with a vast number of helmet models available today, which one to opt for among them? Because not all of them are of prime quality and can provide you great comfort and protection at the same time. There is also the factor of cost to be kept in mind while choosing a helmet. Check price here.
Now, helmets come in two varieties; full and half-helmets. Full helmets cover your face completely when put on, whereas half-helmets cover your head only mostly besides being a cheaper.
Today, I am going to review one half helmet, the LS2 Stripper.
We have worked closely with RevZilla, Amazon and 2Wheel over the years to provide our testers with products to review. They are all great partners and unique in their own ways, so make sure to check out their prices. Please don’t forget we may get a commission if you buy from them.

Usage
LS2 Stripper is made keeping in mind the basic needs of simple road travelling, office-going family riders. So, if you are a rough rider or a stunt daredevil preferring off-track riding, ignore this one completely just like any other low profile half-helmets in the market.
This one features a very plain and basic design, feel, look, and functionality that a rider would need. LS2 Stripper is a low cost option for people who don’t give a damn about what goes on their head, as long as it helps them to avoid a fine at traffic signals. So, do not expect any kind of rough usage from this one.

LS2 Stripper features a KPA shell which is available in three sizes and has a bare bones design. For mild riders, this is enough, and if you are looking for a branded helmet at a low cost just for basic needs, you can buy this one.
The helmet doesn’t have anything which can interfere with your visibility, as the front is completely open and devoid of any kind of screen. The helmet meets and in some cases exceeds all kind of DOT standards, so it is safe for mild usage.
Air Circulation and Ventilation
The helmet doesn’t have any special feature for air circulation or ventilation; not that it needs any anyways. As it is a simple half-helmet, there is no requirement for any special kind of air circulation arrangements in it.
Rest assured, you won’t feel any suffocation wearing it on your head and can ride your motorcycle comfortably without worrying.
Noise, Weight, and Comfort
Expecting any kind of noise cancellation from the LS2 Stripper is foolishness just because of the fact that it is a low profile half-helmet. And like any or all kinds of low profile helmets, the noise cancellation feature is absent, as you must have guessed by now. So, if you are looking for something with noise cancellation, you are looking at a wrong variety.
The helmet is lightweight and won’t cause any burden on your head. It is easy to carry with you and is not that big to cause any problems. It will easily fit in your motorcycle’s compartments.
I would say LS2 Stripper is sufficiently comfortable and fits quite nicely on your head. It comes smoothly down your ears and its quick release strap keeps the helmet in its place all the time if your head is in an aligned shape with the helmet. The helmet will also not help you with any kind of weather protection. So, if you live in hot and humid places, you can look for a better alternative within the same price range.
Other Factors
The helmet is plain in its design and feel. It is low-cost and low-profile, with the most basic of features a brand like LS2 can probably provide. At such a cost, it is not a bad choice for beginners or soft riders.

Purpose-built as a low cost, low-profile helmet, LS2 keeps up with its reputation of providing a good alternative for every kind of rider. As I mentioned before, you should ignore this one if you care even a single bit about your helmet type or design. But its low price will really attract a good number of customers for everyday use. LS2 has designed this one keeping them in mind only.
So my review for this one is it is a good choice for the beginners or riders who prefer mild riding and avoid any kind of heavy-duty custom ship. It is comfortable, protects you well enough, and is light on your head as well as on your pocket.
