Shell
At a weight of 3.47 pounds, this helmet might seem like a heavyset one to some people, but that is your standard size being offered. If you move on to the lower sizes, the weight might suit your neck muscles a bit more but it is going to be a tight fit.
The shell has a long oval shape optimized for a sleek outline which keeps the lid stable at high speeds, if it is a perfect or a tighter fit. You might be enticed into buying a size larger for comfort, but know that the helmet might wobble a bit if you do that.
LS2 has used carbon fiber to make the constitution of this helmet very strong and durable. The FF323 can take on head-on attacks, yet still live to tell the tale. And then some.
In the looks department, the interweave carbon fiber looks amazing with the cross-hatch pattern lined up nicely and matched at the seam from both sides. It comes with the Fury graphic from some sellers for the style icon in you. But you can opt for the natural solid black and gray color of the carbon fiber as well.

Visors
Ripping at high speeds demands maximum visibility of your surroundings to help your reflexes gather as much information as possible before making a split-second decision. And the visors do not disappoint at all. The 3-mm flat visors are extra wide and scratch resistant to maintain your vision as clear as possible at all times. It can also be detached in favor of a different tint or an aftermarket replacement.
LS2 has provided high quality visors as is expected in a premium helmet. It is scratchproof, Fog-Fighter or Pinlock ready, and comes with tear-off posts as well. If you need to remove the visor for any reason, LS2 has made it completely tool-less.
A breath deflector will make sure that your warm, moist exhaled air does not reach the visor and fog it from the inside.
Ventilation
An improved chin and top vents suck down that coming air at high speed to keep the insides cool enough. This air is channeled through the helmet over your top which replaces the hot air that accumulates there. The vented EPS is very effective in this regard, and since this is a multi-density EPS, it provides even better protection. The exhaust ports work on the principle of vacuum and suck the hot air out at back on account of air turbulence.
This system, endearingly called as Dynamic Flow-Through Ventilation by LS2 is notably effective at higher velocities.
Padding and Lining
Instead of piecing together fragments of foam and fabric, LS2 has used their ‘3D Laser Technology’ to carve out single, solid pieces of high quality foam cheek pads. There is an emergency release system which allows you to remove the cheek pads without much effort. The fabric liner is really smooth, fully removable, washable and does a respectable job of wicking up any moisture or sweat.
They have also added a chin curtain to stop fast, chilly winds from reaching your neck or the face where it can do any damage.
