This is a Racer’s Helmet. Period.
If you are a crazy, fast and furious biker, this is a helmet for you specially prepared by two Spanish designers and engineers. The interior and exterior are one of a kind and improve on the shortcomings of other helmets. It has a stable carbon fiber shell and a slightly higher eye port for wide range of sight. This helmet is made by racers, for the racers. So they have considered the difficulties using helmets while being one with your super machine. The adjustable flow-through ventilation takes care of your hot temper to stay cool. There is also a Double-D ring strap for security. Check price here.

For one, the strength of the carbon fiber shell. Since it is a race breed helmet, it has been designed to save your melon from being squashed at speeds that are not street friendly. It’s also great for headbutting curbs, but it might not be what you’ll be doing most of the time. Even if you do, you just might feel a little numb, if at all.
The other striking feature about this is the amazing carbon fiber graphic. Well, it is made of wide-weave carbon fiber (supposedly an exclusive from LS2) so…
As far as security is concerned, they have favored the Double-D ring instead of click-snap variant, an emergency release system, reinforced chin strap and a metallic security plate. When riding at night, a reflective safety patch ensures your presence. A neck-roll is sure to protect you from any ‘snaps’.
The Top Features to Look Out For
Shell
A long oval shape screams aerodynamic, but it might wobble like a see-saw for people with smaller heads. It is narrow in shape, but LS2 provides 4 shell sizes, so that you have some choice trying them on. The outward and narrow internal shape is ideal for those who need more forehead space.
Made with DuPont Kevlar carbon fiber, the company touts it as light and strong at the same time. However, at 3.47 lbs, this is not exactly on the lighter side. If it is any relief, you won’t be riding your superbike for prolonged periods at the speeds you will be travelling. So, perhaps you will not feel the weight for long?

Wanna see who has dared to reach next to you at that breakneck speed? This ultra wide visor with an extended field of view will let you see the entire scenery properly, even at high velocities. It is a 3-mm flat, racing visor at heart made with Polycarbonate, according to LS2, which can be detached quite easily. You can even see the mechanism from clearly through the sides.
The visors also feature a scratch resistant surface so you can be sure of having a clear view despite light abrasive attacks on the screen. Now if you decide to test the theory with a pointy screwdriver, that is another tale with its own bittersweet end.
UV protection and fog resistance is a standard feature that is touted in almost all higher quality helmets, so you can at least assume that this is worth your moolah. What’s new, however is a breath deflector to shove off your warm, moist carbon dioxide filled exhalation downward instead of on the inner side of the visor. So there is that.
This one comes straight from Pinlock, pitched as Fog-Fighter ready, and is a standard feature in every Arrow C Evo helmet.
Ventilation
Along with the standard top and chin vents, this helmet features spoiler as well as exhaust ports for increased removal of hot and moist air from the lid. These vents featuring meshed enclosures to prevent that rogue insect from entering in and wreaking havoc on your ears.
But there are channeled ports as well which assist in directing that air flow properly in addition to adequately vented EPS (Expanded Polystyrene). LS2 claims that this is a multi-density EPS which provides an even better protection.
This is advertised as Dynamic Flow-through Ventilation, but it is up to you to judge how dynamic it really can be in one of your adrenaline-filled road trips.
Padding and Lining
The cheek pads have been made from one solid piece of high quality foam cut using LS2’s ‘3D Laser Technology’. In emergencies, the cheek pads can be removed by a quick release system. Helmets are avoided because the accumulation of sweat ruins your hair style and accelerates hair loss. But the ‘hypoallergenic’ fabric liner used inside is fully removable, moisture-wicking and washable.
A chin curtain makes sure that you can control the air flow into the mask when riding in chilly weather.
Customer Reviews
A lot of people love this helmet for its function, which is to protect your head from high velocity impacts, rather than its looks. In fact, a few of them have already tested this feature and have not reported any brain damage, yet. Still, it is nice to know that it is up there with the premium helmets when it comes to protection.
A few of them complained about the fit and ‘too much airflow, accompanied with noise’. But that’s hardly the point.
Bottom Line
Barring some minor issues, this is a great helmet if you factor safety above everything else. ‘Gone with the wind’ will have a new meaning when you start pushing the limits on your 300cc+ bike.
