James Hetfield of Metallica has a rather unique CFL because as even as it was built by West Coast Choppers, it bucks most of the trends that were coming out of the WCC shop at the time. Most dramatically it has a springer front end, a knucklehead engine and a single uptube frame. Other things that set this chopper apart are the skinny (for the time) rear tire, a uniquely styled toaster tank, rubber grips and a paint job devoid of metallic flake, skulls or flame.
