Indian dipstick honours workers

The designers and engineers responsible for the new Indian Motorcycle are hardly a bunch of dipsticks.
Yet they all have their initials on the back of the special dipstick removal tool.
Product director Gary Gray says the tool is required because you can over-tighten the dipstick.
He says the first tool they designed was not up to the aesthetic quality of the gorgeous Chief range, so he asked for it to be remodelled.
He says the new stylish tool now honours the work of the engineers and designers who created the bike by featuring their initials on one side.
It is just one of the many detailed features of the new Chief range being tested by the Australian media today at Kingscliffe on the Tweed Coast.
