We’ve got a refreshed supermoto machine from Husqvarnas ranks, ready to take center stage in advance of the brand’s 2024 lineups.

Changes for 2024 aren’t too crazy; the FS 450’s ‘facelift’ entails a new color scheme in grey and yellow, and is accompanied by a more grippy saddle to keep the caboose steady during the rougher patches of the track.

Back for 2024 are the competition-happy components that have made this short circuit racer such a favorite; handlebars show activation for Map Select Switch, Launch Control, Traction Control and Quickshifter, while a Suter anti-hopping clutch helps to keep the FS 450’s 450cc SOHC 4-stroke engine primed for handling.

Of course, every good supermoto machine needs a good suspension system; for this year, Husqvarna’s press release tell us that the FS 450 kept her usual setup, providing a WP system that features an XACT 48 mm front fork with AER technology for the front and an equally handy XACT rear shock with CFD-optimised main piston and tool-free adjusters for the rear.

Finish off the package with Brembo brakes and the obligatory hydro-formed chromium molybdenum chassis (+ aluminium-polyamide hybrid subframe), and the FS 450 is raring to ride into the next set of hills, bumps and valleys.
