The Gears of War 3 trike was unveiled July 21, 2011 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, California for the kick off of Comic-Con 2011. A 2nd bike was built and was given away in a Best Buy Sweepstakes along with a trip to New York City for the Gears of War 3 Launch event on 9/19/11. The lucky winner was Ty Yolac of New Jersey. See the giveaway bike below The wheels of the game-inspired trike include the Gears of War cog skull symbol and the paint resembles armor used in the game. It features crash bars to fight locusts, dual gattling guns and 14 inch wide tires. Episodes aired on American Chopper September 19th and 26th to coincide with the Gears of War 3 game release September 20, 2011. The trike is currently on display at the company store of the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Oregon.
