Forcite’s Cutting-Edge MK1S Smart Helmet is Here

All the Details Ahead of Tomorrow’s Launch

It wasn’t so long ago that we covered a 3.4lb smart helmet that was taking the moto community by storm – and we continue to pay attention with good reason. Forcite’s got the first smart helmet in the world to achieve ECE certification and also win a Good Design Award, blending a deadly combo of form and function that had their last batch of helmets snapped up in under 30 minutes (no joke. It was so insane we covered the story back in November of 2021).

In typical fashion of a brand that obsesses about improvement, this next batch coming has a slew of purported updates added to the MK1S, with the press release stating that the helmet has reached “new heights of premium inclusions and advanced functionality.”

So what makes this helmet stand out from the previous batch?

“Premium 40mm Harman Kardon speaker drivers [are] housed in a newly designed comfort fit cavity,” enthuses the recent release.

We also have a “new visor design featuring an updated mechanism with a quick-release pull tab,” as well as a new chin camera (better colour-tuning profile and wider field of view), better aerodynamics, a new liner (featuring a sweat-absorbent hex sports fabric), and the ability to upgrade the interior lining to include 3D-formed foam and a neck roll with extended chin curtain (better noise-cancelling).

Given the bonkers popularity of this unit and the brand’s unique goal to “continue to adopt and adapt new systems that are currently sucked up by the Automotive Industry and apply them specifically to the motorcycle sector”, we’re expecting a very nice lineup at the launch of the next batch, set for 10am AEST tomorrow.
