Ukranian brand EMGo Technology is an interesting company.  Having been created three years ago with the merging of two bigwig tech centers (GEON and a specialized electric motorcycle Research & Design tech organization), the goal thus far has been to create commercial electric vehicles with a focus on cleen energy for the urban setting.

According to a report from The Pack, there have already been several units dispersed to Ukraine, including “several electric transport concepts in small series…a fast and spacious electric scooter ‘RAZZO’ and an electric scooter-SUV ‘FLYWHEEL’.”

On top of this (and to complement the launching of these units), EMGo has also come out with a product line of smart batteries – “from portable 1 kW power banks to high-performance batteries with on-board three-phase inverters.”

Naturally, the next step once you’ve covered small-displacement machines is a more powerful offering – and according to EMGo, the all-new ScrAmper is just that.

“The [ScrAmper’s] latest version is a powerful and technologically advanced machine capable of competing on equal terms with the leaders of the ‘middle +’ segment of the electric motorcycle market,” comments the report.

“In this latest version…the cooling system is a patented EMGo design, [allowing] 10 kW batteries to run for 35 minutes without degradation and damage to the elements at a long peak of 24 kW.”

“In future models, the developers plan to use these battery properties for a special turbo mode of 24 kW, while the motorcycle will deliver a maximum speed up to 170 km/h.”

While those specs are quite jaw-dropping compared to the competition (LiveWire’s battery now runs from a purported 15.4kWh energy unit), the reality is in the current figures: 130 km/h maximum speed, with the potential to r’Amp’ up to 160 km mileage in an urban environment “and up to 110 km mileage at maximum speed parameters.”

As for charging capacity, the ScrAmper’s pretty impressive there, too; equipped with a powerful on-board charger, the machine can be charged at stations for electric cars as well as from your generic home setup, with the rates as follows:

45 minutes from 0% to 80%

1.5 hours from 0 to 100%

“The developers plan to double the charger in future iterations of the motorcycle and reduce the full charge time from 0% to 100% to 45 minutes,” continues the report.

“In the future, changes are planned in the engine, a transition from a gearbox to a direct transmission (central motor), with an increase in power up to 26 kW, speed to 170 km/h, cruising range in this maximum mode up to 70 km.”

“These updates will be implemented in the next ScrAmper PRO model.”

With a planned launch into the market proper this year (and the residual chaos of the Russo-Ukranian War), the brand was forced to choose Indiegogo’s crowdfunding platform to speed up the mass production of the product. To support the company in the launching of this neat beastie at the end of next week, be sure to check out the ScrAmper on their website, and be sure to follow them in their journey from various social media platforms, including their Facebook page.
