CAKE’s decided to use their newest electric offering to compete in Enduro, and they’ll be using the newly-released Bukk for the honors.

It’s a clever move, considering the Bukk currently holds the title of “the lightest competitive enduro bike on the market” (via CAKE). Two fresh, talented riders are prepped to join the world of electric enduro racing on behalf of CAKE: Emelie Dahl (SWE) and Robert Kvarnström (SWE), both of which will be contributing to the bike’s full-force international debut by the spring of next year – and Team Leader Kvarnström is already raring to go.

“It feels amazing to finally start racing for CAKE. After the first Bukk test days, Emelie and I are confident, and our sole ambition is to simply win the races we’re participating in,” enthuses CAKE’s new Team Leader in a recent press release from CAKE

“… People need to understand that motor power does not necessarily equate to fast lap times and this will become the perfect evidence… this will be an eye-opener for many, including myself. We are faster on these machines in several formats and conditions, creating many new racing opportunities.”

Naturally, the push to improve electric power is best put to the test on the track; as a result, CEO & Founder of CAKE Stefan Ytterborn is looking forward to seeing what the two young riders accomplish for 2023. CAKE’s best powertrain yet – the Jante – has been getting a big chunk of the electric industry’s spotlight for its power specs, and we’re told the Jante that will be slotted into the team’s Bukk Power Light models.

“With the mission to accelerate towards a zero-emission society combining excitement with responsibility, the racing scene has huge potential… This initiative is crucial to have the ability to beat traditional motorcycles on their home turf, become a clear start for even looking at, considering, and eventually even getting its first electric racing machine,” finishes Ytterborn.
