Ducati Diavel Carbon – Dark Devil Colouring

The Ducati Diavel Carbon is a dark Italian devil that now comes with a choice of red or white frames. Ducati Australia has unveiled the pricing and model line-up for 2014 including the choice of two frame colours in the Diavel (Italian for ‘devil’) Carbon. Check out the Diavel video below:

 

New Ducati models added to the line-up are the 899 Panigale ABS at $19,990 and the Monster 1200 and 1200 S ($19,990 and $23,990). the new models were a highlight at the recent Brisbane Moto Expo. There have been no price increases across the range.

The Ducati Diavel now comes with the more powerful and efficient dual-spark Testastretta engine that also powers the new flagship Monsters. Diavel adds new flared megaphone exhausts, new fuel gauge, bar risers, a longer seat, all-LED lights and some styling updates to the headlamp and radiator guard. The higher bars and longer seat should result in an even more relaxed and versatile riding position to accommodate a wider range of rider heights.

Diavel retains the riding modes and all the hi-tech electronics such as ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and color TFT displays. There is also a generous list of optional parts and accessories such as a passenger backrest. The Carbon versions weigh only 205kg dry, thanks to the tank panels, single seat cover, front mudguard and multiple other lightweight parts.
