Custom bikes and pinstriping will be features of the annual Greazefest Kustom Kulture Festival at Rocklea Showgrounds, Brisbane, on August 2-4.
The weekend festival is a homage to all things ‘50s, from vintage bikes to hot rods, rockabilly music, fashion and tattoos.
There will be a hot rod and custom bike show on both days and music round the clock with a line-up of more than 20 bands including the Paladins and Chop Tops from the US.
You can also get your bike pinstriped by one of the true artists, Von Hot Rod, from the US.
Known as the Master of the Fine Line, he travels the world teaching his craft.
Greazefest kicks off on the Friday night from 7 with music until midnight.
Saturday’s two sessions run from 11am to 5pm and 5-11pm, while Sunday’s events are from 9am-8pm.
Cost is $22 a session in advance or $27 at the door. Two-day paasses are $40/$54, a two-day pass plus Saturday night is $53/$67 and an all-events pass is $75/$94.
