CFMoto 650NK celebrates 14th at Isle of Man TT

A limited edition CFMoto 650NK ABS model is now available t celebrate the Chinese brand’s entry in the Isle of Man TT lightweight class this year.

However, it’s not celebrating a win. In fact, the CFMoto finished 14th with Craig Neve at the controls.

The class field including 28 Kawasaki ER-6s but race was won by a sole Italian-made Paton ridden by class was ridden by Michael Rutter.

CFMoto’s top TT result was in 2016 when Gary Johnson finished fourth.

Johnson was hoping for a podium in this year’s TT, but thick fog, heavy rain and a number of session cancellations, meant he was unable to finish.

The CFMoto 650NK TT ABS will be on dealership floors from October 2, available in “Racing White with Neon and Carbon highlights” plus race graphics at $6690 ride away.

That’s about $200 more than the standard ABS model. Read our 650NK review here.

Seems interesting to pay extra for race graphics on a bike that’s celebrating a 14th place.

However, CFMoto Australia director Michael Poynton puts a positive spin on the popular learner-approved naked bike.

“It is great to see CFMoto’s involvement in the racing scene to showcase the brands capability,” he says.

“From CFMoto’s racing experience you will see the R&D filter down into the product range enhancing its already highly competitive motorcycle range.”
