Aussie’s very best surf-and-bike team has just partnered up with Breitling for a new watch!
This particular bit of pretty is a part of Breitling’s “Top Time” collection – a series that celebrates the freedom and beauty of the 1960s, “living life at full speed” (via Breitling).
Of course, Deus Ex Machina’s expertise in the waves required a unique timepiece capable of showing off unique components, all while staying true to Breitling’s Swiss-and-swanky touch.
The end result?
Meet the “Top Time B01 Deus” – a chronograph that joins previous collectible pieces like the “Top Time B01 Shelby Cobra,” “Top Time B01 Chevrolet Corvette,” and the more recent “Top Time B01 Triumph.”
Expect the Deus Ex Machina logo and maxim “In benzin veritas” (“In Petrol We Trust”) embossed on the watch’s dial, with the chronograph latched to a perforated leather racing strap.
A blacked-out dial stands in stark contrast to white “squircle” triple measures, with the lightning-bolt hand and speed-measuring tachymeter scale giving serious vintage vibes – all run by the excellent Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.
“These co-branded Top Time watches are for those who are as into the mechanics of their watch as they are the mechanics of their motorcycle,” says Breitling CEO Georges Kern in coverage from Deployant.
“The Breitling Caliber 01 is a finely tuned engine, created with all the precision and attention to detail that goes into building the perfect bike.”
What do you think of the Top Time B01 Deus?
