This edition is one of a series of books in the “Enthusiast Color Series” of books about classic motorcycles.
Triumph Motorcycles: Twins and Triples is an excellent resource at a very reasonable price for both Triumph motorcycle fans and for people with a passing interest in the marque.
The book has some outstanding photographs of important classic Triumph motorcycles.
The color photos are extremely crisp and restorers will find that many important details are clearly visible.
My only complaint is that some of the photos have been cropped to fit the small format, but overall the photos are what make this book.
The text is very detailed, almost to a fault.
There isn’t much entertaining reading here; instead, the detailed history and facts can be a bit tiring. I guess that there just aren’t many more original Triumph employees around any more who can provide any further insight into the Triumph story, and the only thing left are cold, hard facts.
But nevertheless, the color photographs are so awesome that they make this book a “must have” for anyone interested in the history of Triumph motorcycles.
