BMW wants to catch customers young and teach them loyalty to the blue propeller brand with its new range of pushbikes.
The new 20-inch BMW Cruise Bike Junior is designed to suit cyclists aged six to nine with a special frame design that allows the bike to “grow” with their child … and maybe grow into motorcycles!
Could this also be a portent for adjustable height motorcycles?
As expected from BMW it comes with safe brakes that have two independently adjustable levers and smoothly-operating rim brakes.
Other safety features are a little lower tech than on their automobiles and motorcycles – reflectors and a bell.
And continuing on from the adjustable suspension of their motorcycles, the forks adapt to the weight of a child.
The BMW Cruise Bike Junior is not available in Australia, but you can get them online. But it’s not cheap at more than $600.
