This t-shirt is just one way you can help raise money for breast cancer research and make people more aware.
October is international cancer awareness month and you can do your bit by donating money or joining one of the many Pink Ribbon Rides around the world or the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride for prostate cancer, etc.

Spokesman Matt LeClair says he created the shirt “primarily in support of my mother-in-law who is a breast cancer survivor and another in-law who is currently battling breast cancer”.
He will donate 50% of all proceeds to Susan G. Komen, a global breast cancer movement. It began in the US in 1982 and has since invested more than $2.5 billion toward research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 30 countries.
“Since we just started out with the (t-shirt) campaign, we’ve only sold a dozen or so, but are working on getting the word out about it,” Matt says.
“It may not be much in the end, but at least we’re doing something to continue to raise awareness while contributing to a great organisation that is helping to combat breast cancer.”
