The Structure
The oval and slightly narrow shape makes the look astonishing. The sizes vary a lot with the large shell fitting a neutral head shape of 60 cm. The outer shell is so shaped that it, along with the soft base edge, reduces the damage caused by the loud impact due to its shock absorber properties.
The intercom speaker has a tricky fit as there are no ear pockets defined. The helmet, however, does not provide a headset of its own. Therefore, the biker should judiciously choose a compatible headset that fits in the helmet.
Weight
Being light in weight, the helmet is both a boon and a bane. On the rides through rough undulating terrain, the light weight protects the head from the jerks of the repeated collisions. Nevertheless, it is susceptible to the rough winds. The beautiful aerodynamics of the helmet have been well taken care of the concern preventing it from flying away easily. Ventilation System
The ventilation is taken care of by the two closable intake vents in the visor on the front and a single closable mouth vent in the front of the chin guard. The adjustment of the mouth vent can be done while on road but the intake vents are better manipulated while at rest. The chin vent, if not necessary, can easily be removed without the help of any tools. The eye port and the jaw line are also provided with four, non-closable vents that make the street ride enjoyable.
The Shield and the Visor
The helmet possesses a complete set of face shield, peak, visor, and goggles. The face shield offers you three positions and seals against the eye port. The shield is efficient enough to whisk away the rain droplets and avoid fogging. It is neatly put into place by an extra-long chin strap that holds the shield in position.
The rotating mechanism makes it easy to open the thick face shield and close it through the three detents. The wearer, therefore, suffers from the risk of abrasion because of the repeated interaction with the switch gear and the face shield on every ride. AX-8 Dual Evo has however gone a long way in ensuring that the sliders are of top quality that do not wear and tear with the intended and repeated brushings. The shield can be easily removed by using a dime.
The visor is efficiently shaped to exhaust the incoming air. It also offers a sufficient shield from the sun and the dirt and mud of your riding partner. The large eye port accommodates the off-road goggles easily.

The Peak
The peak and the face shield are held with new aluminum screws. These screws can be removed as per required to use the helmet with or without the shield or peak. The peak is so designed to allow a large gap to the helmet shell. The design makes it look like any other dual helmet while allowing maximum air flow through it. It also does an appreciable job in blocking the overhead sun.
Visibility
The helmet offers above-average visibility. The angular design narrows down the vision while the large chin bar and the breath guard blocks the forward vision. However, the helmet does a pretty decent job as compared to other helmets of the same category.
Noise
For the ones who love speeding their way through the highways, the helmet offers good noise insulation. The top vent design and the tight seal of the face shield keep the noise level relatively low. However, at the location where the cheek pads meet the back of the helmet, the AGV needs to fill it with sufficient padding. The split location generates noise at rapid turbulence and hence have to be taken care of. For now, the helmet offers an average satisfaction noise cancellation.
Conclusion
The helmet surely does not fall into the category of high-end dual sports helmets. However, the design is efficient enough to provide an integrated ventilation system.
