This bike was built in 5 days by a group of mechanics for an episode of Monster Garage. The goal of the project was to build a 50’s Chevy Hotord style chopper. Don Hotop from Don’s Speed and Custom in Fort Madison, Iowa, John Reed, a master product designer from Custom Chrome, Carl Morrow of Carl’s Speed Shop in Daytona, Florida, and Marc Rowe. The donor was a 04 softail with an 88ci twincam. The result is this very cool throwback that features a copper forged gas tank and copper coated lower shock arms, rear fender strut, bar risers, lights and all the other copper accents on this hardtail chop.
