In the motorcycle world there are many different types of motorcycles, and also many different types of people that ride those bikes. Groups, charters, gangs, loose affiliations; all names that apply to a portion of this big biker club that we all belong to. Women that choose to ride their own moto’s like to refer to other’s that don’t as “backpacks” and tease them for not riding their own. And us guys like to think that we can rip on each other and the girls play nice all the time – yeah right.
So here are 5 Types of Women that ride their own Motorcycles. Don’t get caught calling one by the wrong name – you have been warned.
Chopper Lady
This is the lady that wrenches on her own bike and does not like anybody else touching it. She most likely built that baby from the frame up and can ride it harder and longer that you can. Her tattoos show off her attitude and tell a story of a non-conformity lifestyle – and her friends would rather die than let you get close to her.
Harley Girl
This girl has class and style, and prefers to ride a premium brand of motorcycle – The Harley. Traveling the open road and enjoying what it has to offer are at the top of her list. If you can’t catch her at a biker rally supporting a cause, you sure won’t be able to catch up with her on the open road.
Cafe Racer
A sub culture of it’s own; the cafe racer is a unique type of motorcycle with a vintage or retro feel. Built for speed and easy handling, this light bike is fun ride. The Cafe Racer Lady enjoys styling the styling of these bikes and gear from the 70-80’s era.
Sport Bike
The girl on the sport bike get a few extra points in the eyes of men in the sport bike category. She rides it fast, and can wheelie all the way down the highway at speeds your mom doesn’t approve of. “Squid” is the slang term for any female that shows more skin while riding on a sport bike than she does protecting her parts, or wearing a helmet.
Dirt Bike Girl
This Motocross Girl would rather hit the track than chill with you. Race days are the best days and practicing for race day is the second best days. Tough as her choice of bike, the dirt biker doesn’t mind getting dirty, greasy, or muddy.
