The 2023 Zero S isn’t just a motorcycle, with its electric powertrain, minimal maintenance, impressive range, and charging capabilities it’s a revolution on two wheels. It is also the lowest priced option of the 2023 Zero “S” lineup. The Zero S strips away the noise, fumes, and vibration, letting you enjoy the pure, uninterrupted flow of the ride. The Z-Force® powertrain offers smooth acceleration just at the twist of a throttle, no shifting, all torque. The motor, a Z-Force® 75-5 permanent magnet, brushless motor with a peak torque of 78 ft-lb and 46 horsepower propels it to a top speed of 98 mph.

A defining feature of Zero motorcycles is its Z-Force® battery, the most power and energy-dense in the EV industry. This motorcycle comes equipped with the Z-Force 7.2 battery, offering up to 89 miles in city riding and 45 miles on the highway. For those seeking even more range, there’s an option to add a Power Tank accessory that expands the battery capacity by an additional 3.6 kWh. The charging process is as easy as plugging into any standard household outlet. Your home outlets become “fueling” stations that deliver daily rides at a fraction of the cost of gasoline. The Zero S showcases how cost effective it is by requiring minimal maintenance. The Z-Force® powertrain eliminates the mess and expense of tuneups by utilizing a carbon fiber belt that directly connects the rear wheel to a motor and uses a single moving part to deliver torque at levels beyond conventional superbikes. 2023 Zero S Features

The all-new Z-FORCE 15.6+ lithium-ion battery makes the SR capable of a 227-mile maximum range when combined with available Cypher Store upgrades and the available Power Tank accessory (dealer-installed). The battery’s industry-leading power and energy density combined with an aluminum heat-sink housing and thermal transfer interface ensure consistent cell cooling and maximum long-term powertrain performance. Key software upgrades available in the Cypher Store will unlock up to 17.3 kWh of battery capacity and the additional 3.6 kWh Power Tank brings the total available battery capacity to nearly 21 kWh.

Our scalable Rapid Charge System allows the SR to be configured for different charging levels. The all-new SR comes with 3 kW of charging but that can be increased by 10% with the tap of a finger through purchasing on-demand upgrade in the Cypher Store. The SR also comes with the option to add a Rapid Charge Module as a dealer installed accessory that, when combined with the Cypher Store upgrade, brings total available charging capacity to 9.3 kW and will charge the SR’s 15.6+ kWh battery in just over an hour. * Note: SR requires use of included EVSE cord in order to charge on a standard 110 V wall outlet.

The Z-Force 75-10 motor is tuned for the SR to deliver 122 ft-lbs of torque, 73 hp, and 104mph, but when paired with available on-demand upgrades through the Cypher Store, those numbers soar to 140 ft-lbs of torque and 110 hp, effortlessly propelling the SR to a top speed of 124 mph. Pairing Zero’s renowned internal permanent magnet brushless architecture and a passively air-cooled compact design creates class-leading performance and efficiency.

Incredibly light. Unbelievably strong. The steel-trellis frame, custom swingarm and advanced Showa suspension deliver an athletic and intuitive riding experience. The powertrain is perfectly distributed, resulting in a weight-optimized/mass-centralized design, while a dual radial front brake system makes shedding speed as exhilarating as building it.

The SR is equipped with Bosch ABS with the option to upgrade to Advance Motorcycle Stability Control in the Cypher Store with the Performance Boost upgrade. The Bosch MSC System is renowned for dynamic acceleration and improved stability regardless of road surface or conditions.
