The 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard: Nuts On Tank, Elbows Up, And Leg Out
Contents
A new kid has joined the block in the 2022 Ducati lineup in the form of the 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard. This latest iteration of the Scrambler takes the concept and expands it into supermoto territory.
Italian Manufacturers always had an eye for design and bold new graphics, and this Ducati Motorcycle is no different. The bold looks take after the Hypermotard 950, incorporating design cues from the world of street art and graffiti, as the urban in the name suggests.
While the other Ducati Scramblers get the nostalgic 18 and 19-inch front wheels, the Urban Motard has a performance-oriented 17-inch spoked front and rear wheels. While this might seem like a minor update, this opens the doors to a wide variety of tire options, giving the owners far greater opportunities for the type of riding they want to do. Ducati takes advantage of that right away, and the Urban Motard’s wire-spoked wheels are installed with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires.
The Urban Motard shares a few design details from the other Scrambler line, such as the high-mounted front fender from the Desert Sled and the Nightshifts side number plates. Helping to give this Scrambler the Urban Motard feel.
The Urban Motard also features the same air-cooled 803cc V-twin engine producing a claimed 73 horsepower at 8250 rpm and 49 ft-lbs torque at 5750 rpm. So keep those elbows up and leg out!
For 2022, the Scrambler Urban Motard is available in only one color option: Star White Silk and Ducati GP ’19 Red colors.
The 2022 Ducati Urban Motard starts at MSRP: $11,695 USD / $13,295 CDN
