The 2022 Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark Is Unconventional But Fashionable
Contents
Introduced back in 2020, the Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark remains unchanged for the 2022 Ducati lineup. The Italian Manufacturer still kept the Icon Dark as the most affordable Icon in Ducati Motorcycles range. It’s a base-model Scrambler but it still has plenty of character of its own.
Underneath the Icon Dark’s sleek matte black exterior, it features an 803cc air-cooled Desmodromic L-twin engine, the same powerhouse found on most Ducati Scrambler models. Which produces 73 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 48.8 lb-ft of torque.
“Don’t judge a book by its price”, said no one ever. Despite the budget price structure, the Icon Dark still gets some nice features including premium LED lighting with DRL, a brand new seat for greater comfort, compatibility with Ducati’s Multimedia System, new hydraulic clutch control, new switch gears, and dual-channel cornering ABS from Bosch.
The matted blacked-out aesthetics and interchangeable brushed aluminum side panels, make it the perfect platform to create a personalized version of the Ducati Scrambler.
The 2022 Ducati Icon Dark starts at MSRP: $8,995 USD / $10,995 CDN
