The 2022 Can-Am Spyder F3: A Three-Wheeled Road Cruiser
Contents
You’d think a company that more or less has a monopoly on the three-wheeled powersports market would limit themselves to a couple solid models and then call it quits—but the horsepower-happy Canadians at Can-Am have churned out plenty of tricked-out trikes for the Can-Am brand over the years, and they don’t look to be stopping anytime soon. Of course, even a company as inventive as BRP needs a flagship product, and that’s where the Spyder F3 comes in.
The Spyder F3 is essentially the Can-Am equivalent of a big ol’ road cruiser—it’s a powerful, comfortable beast ideal for two-up riding, with a European-made 1330cc Rotax engine that pumps out 115 hp and 96 lb-ft of torque, giving you plenty of grunt when you need to tear through traffic or obliterate off-road terrain. And even the base model has plenty of rider amenities, like Can-Am’s vehicle stability system and UFit technology to help more riders enjoy that relaxed cruiser-style feeling as they ride. There’s also a panoramic LCD display, room to pack gear, and more.
Yes, it’s the most straightforward of the Spyder models, but that by no means makes it a basic offering. Can-Am introduced some special editions of this model for 2022, but the basic version remains virtually unchanged. That’s okay, though—you don’t screw around with a classic.
The new Spyder F3 remains the quintessential ride in Can-Am’s 2022 model lineup. It starts at $17,999 USD/$22,499 CAD.
