2022 BMW R18 Classic [Specs, Features, Photos]

2022 BMW R18

The 2022 BMW R18 Classic: The Nostalgic Bagger

The BMW R 18 series without a doubt borrows the classic styling of the pre-1960’s “R” bikes, with the 2022 R 18 Classic absolutely nailing that iconic look in a very modern way. A member of the Heritage segment of the 2022 BMW lineup, the R 18 Classic is the model of choice to capture the retro European bagger style.

Sharing the “Big Boxer” engine with the R 18 family, a twist of the wrist delivers 116 lbs-ft of torque,  From 2,000 to 4,000 rpm, it delivers over 100 lb-ft, which translates to a consistently high torque delivery and the typical running characteristics of a boxer. At 4,750 rpm, the Big Boxer provides 91 hp.

The nostalgic style includes twin auxiliary headlamps, but being modern they are all LED. Footboards, a huge clear windscreen, and soft saddlebags complete the look.

As with most BMW models, adding the premium pack will include heated grips, hill start control, and an adaptive headlight. Have a good look at the options list, this bike can be configured to your exact specifications.

4 Color choices for the 2022 BMW R 18 Classic: Option 719 Galaxy Dust / Titan Silver Metallic, Mars Red Metallic, Manhattan Metallic Matte, and Black Storm Metallic
