The New Euro5-Compliant 2021 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport
Contents
The Triumph Tiger 850 Sport is a new addition to the 2021 Triumph line-up. It’s the smallest adventure model from Triumph Motorcycles, replacing the outgoing Tiger 800. The all-new model is designed for performance-oriented road-going adventure and comes complete with a full suite of exciting riding aids.
This British-made adventure motorcycle is powered by a larger engine than its predecessors and now draws power from an 888 cc liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder engine. The larger displacement gives the Tiger 850 a power output of 84 horsepower and 60 lb-ft of peak torque. The new engine is sharp and responsive, delivering a manageable spread of power right across the rev range.
Triumph has given the Tiger 850 Sport a number of exciting features to complement the new engine, including Road and Rain riding modes with dedicated throttle and traction maps, ABS and switchable traction control, and a Slip & Assist clutch. Other high-spec extras include Brembo Stylema brakes, Marzocchi suspension, LED lighting, TFT instrumentation, and an adjustable screen.
For 2021, the Tiger 850 Sport is available in two color options: Graphite Diablo Red or Graphite Caspian Blue.
The 2021 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport starts from $11,995 USD / $13,595 CAD.
